Abstract

Background

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is an important issue in men and women and represents a significant public health issue. The present study aimed to explore the effects of Viagra on the levels of Sildenafil citrate in ED patients. Methods: Eighty adult male volunteers with ED were recruited from three European countries. The volunteers were randomly divided into two groups. The first group received sildenafil citrate tablets (20mg/100mg) orally for 7 days, and the second group received sildenafil citrate tablets (20mg/100mg) daily for 7 days. The results showed that the sildenafil citrate tablets significantly improved the slightly lower scores on the Sexual Dysfunction Index (SFI) compared with the sildenafil citrate tablets. The lower SFI scores were found in the group receiving sildenafil citrate tablets compared with the group receiving sildenafil citrate tablets. There were no significant differences in the scores of the Sexual Dysfunction Index between the sildenafil citrate tablets and the control group. However, the mean scores of the SFI in the sildenafil citrate tablet group were significantly higher than in the control group. The results of this study indicate that sildenafil citrate tablets and sildenafil citrate tablets may have different pharmacokinetics in the male patients.

Introduction

Erectile dysfunction is a common problem among men and women. It is defined as impotence or inability to obtain or keep an erection, especially in men aged over 40 years. In the present study, sildenafil citrate tablets, with the highest dose, were administered orally in men. In the present study, the SFI, the sex-specific index, was significantly improved in the sildenafil citrate tablets group than in the control group (p<0.001), which was consistent with the results of a previous study. Another study has shown that the SFI score improved in ED patients, and it was also significantly higher in patients with diabetes compared with those without diabetes. It is well known that the SFI score can be used as a primary index of the severity of erectile dysfunction, and the results of this study are consistent with the findings of other studies. It is also possible that SFI is a more accurate index of erectile function.

Many studies have shown that the sexual dysfunction is directly related to erectile function. It is well known that sexual dysfunction can be caused by physiological factors such as diabetes, heart disease, and other diseases. Therefore, the diagnosis of ED and ED treatment must be based on a thorough medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests. Moreover, the quality of the patients in the ED treatment must be evaluated.

Erectile dysfunction is a common problem in males, and the prevalence is higher in women. This problem can cause many problems and the sexual function of men is affected by psychological and physiological factors. ED is a chronic and long-term problem and affects the quality of life. The prevalence of ED can vary from 50% to 90% in a woman, and the prevalence is also influenced by the age of the patient, the level of education, and other factors, such as smoking and drug use. The prevalence of erectile dysfunction can be estimated by the sex-specific index and sexual functioning index. Erectile dysfunction is a complex and multifactorial condition that affects the quality of life of all the patients. The International Society for Sexual Health and the International Association for the Study of Erectile Dysfunction (IASES) have stated that the prevalence of erectile dysfunction in women is the highest in the world. According to the International Society for Sexual Health and the International Association for the Study of Erectile Dysfunction (IASES), the prevalence of erectile dysfunction is more than 85% in women. Furthermore, the prevalence of ED is also lower in men compared with men in the general population, and the prevalence of ED is lower in men. Therefore, the results of the present study suggest that the sexual dysfunction index should be used as a primary index of erectile function in patients with ED.

Materials and methods

Study population

All patients who received sildenafil citrate tablets or sildenafil citrate tablets daily for 7 days were recruited from the three European countries, namely, Germany, France, and Italy, and who were diagnosed with erectile dysfunction.

A new study shows that prescription drugs are more likely to cause side effects than non-prescription drugs.

Researchers say that, while they are able to make changes to their patients’ medical prescriptions, prescription drugs are not as common as non-prescription drugs. For instance, a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine in February examined the use of prescription drugs in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The authors found that in women who had polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), more than half of those taking prescription drugs were prescribed the drug sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra).

The results were published last week in the journal,.

“Our results demonstrate that women with PCOS are less likely to have sexual dysfunction, and that sildenafil is not as effective as other drugs,” said, a clinical associate professor at the University of British Columbia.

“We conclude that these findings are consistent with the current understanding of drug use as a result of polycystic ovary syndrome.”

The study was published online January 20. The researchers used the data from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and from the Canadian Food Drug Association (CFDA) to determine whether sildenafil had any positive impact on women with PCOS.

“We are currently evaluating this potential impact and have also looked at how a woman with PCOS using prescription drugs may have side effects,” said Dr. Nino Tadazelson, director of the CFDA’s Center for Sexual Medicine and Menopause. “We have not yet found evidence to support the possibility that sildenafil has a positive effect on female sexual dysfunction, but we do think that the study is providing evidence to support that.”

“Our results also demonstrate that the side effects of prescription drugs, whether they be over-the-counter drugs or prescription drugs, do not increase as quickly as non-prescription drugs.”

A review of the available literature concluded that, while the drug use of non-prescription drugs does not seem to have a direct effect on women with PCOS, there is a slight increase in the number of women with PCOS who took prescription drugs. “The main reason for this increase in the number of women with PCOS who take prescription drugs is the increasing number of women who use non-prescription drugs,” Tadazelson said. “The increase in the number of women with PCOS who are using non-prescription drugs is due to the increased number of women who use prescription drugs and the increasing use of non-prescription drugs in the community.”

The researchers also found that the drug use of non-prescription drugs had a greater impact on women with PCOS compared to prescription drugs. “The most significant and consistent finding is that the number of women with PCOS who are prescribed the drug sildenafil (Viagra) has been increased by 50 percent among those who are using the drug,” Tadazelson said.

Revatio-sildenafil is a drug to treat erectile dysfunction and is available as an oral tablet or as a nasal spray. It is used for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) (also known as Hypertension or Edema). It is used to treat erectile dysfunction, or impotence, when there is no sexual desire in the context of underlying emotional or physical distress. Only a very small percentage of men with Edema and PAH (erectile dysfunction that is not related to Edema) will achieve an erection; men with PAH will not have an erection. Revatio-sildenafil will not cause a spontaneous erection.

Revatio-sildenafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men and women. Revatio-sildenafil is not approved for use in children under 18 years of age.
